Back in December 2015, Japan based device maker NuAns unveiled the unique looking and customizable Windows 10 smartphone called NuAns Neo with decent specs. Initially the handset was exclusive to Japan, but the company Kick-started crowdfunding campaign, to bring of NuAns Neo to the global market.

Unfo rtunate for the company, the Kickstarter campaign failed, as it did not hit the goal of $725,000, and had to shut it down. Part of the blame for the failure was the fact that Neo ran Windows 10 Mobile platform, which is not doing well.

Now NuaNs is all set to announce a new smartphone called NuAns Neo Reloaded, and unsurprisingly, the smartphone will run Googles Android Nougat and ditch Microsofts Windows Mobile platform.

Similar to the Windows 10 Mobile based NuAns Neo, the Neo Reloaded will come with swappable TWOTONE back covers, allowing users to choose different textures and colors, fo r both the top and bottom of the rear side.

Also, it will be a mid-range smartphone featuring 5.2-inch Full HD display, octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, 3GB RAM, LTE connectivity, IP54 rated for dust and splash resistant, USB Type-C, fingerprint scanner and 3450mAh battery. It is expected to carry a price tag of $440 (Rs. 30,000).

Currently, its unknown if NuAns plans to launch the Neo Reloaded globally. The NuAns Neo Reloaded will be unveiled on February 20, and we should know more details of the device.
